The elephants arrive on their annual migration through the reception area of Mfuwe Lodge The elephants know the lodge well and are quite relaxed Elephant entering the reception As the years go by, the elephants each get more relaxed and start to explore the reception
This is now a well used image on the internet and has come to represent the elephants visit at the lodge Here is 'Wonky Tusks' a female elephant who arrives every year and appears to enjoy her visit The mango tree at the centre of the lodge Each year the mothers bring their young, handing down the 'knowledge' as they do so.
